Job Summary
- The Inventory Manager will be responsible for overseeing and controlling the procurement, storage, distribution, and tracking of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, equipment, and consumables.
- The role ensures optimal stock levels, compliance with healthcare regulations, reduction of wastage, and uninterrupted availability of critical healthcare items.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily inventory operations for medical supplies, drugs, equipment, and consumables.
- Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages, overstocking, and expiries.
- Implement inventory control systems and maintain accurate stock records.
- Conduct regular stock counts, audits, and reconciliations.
- Track expiry dates and ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO).
- Coordinate procurement activities with vendors and internal departments.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards, regulatory guidelines, and safety policies.
- Oversee storage conditions for pharmaceuticals and medical items (temperature, handling, labeling).
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management within a healthcare or pharmaceutical setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical inventory systems and healthcare supply chain processes.
- Experience using inventory management software (ERP systems preferred).
- Understanding of regulatory requirements for healthcare inventory management.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Salary
N450,000 / Month.
